Kirstine Reiner Hansen is an artist based in the Bay Area, California, US. Born in Odense, Denmark, she received a BA in Design and Illustration at Kolding School of Design. Her work has been exhibited in numerous galleries, most recently she had a solo exhibition at G-allery in Berlin, Germany. She is represented by Jack Fischer Gallery in San Francisco and G-allery, Berlin.. In 2012 she received the Lillian Orlowsky and William Freed Foundation Grant and was twice a semi-finalist for the Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition. She has been featured in Juxtapoz Magazine, BloPop Magazine and the Asian Curator as well as in the book ‘Distrupted Realism’ by John Seed. Her work is going to be featured in the indie film ‘Meaning of a Ritual’ currently filming in Berlin, due to open in 2023.
